I love autumn! The days are cooling down but there is still plenty of lovely weather to enjoy. It’s a great time of year to get out and explore our fabulous local regions. Tucked up in the hillside just out of Willunga you’ll find a hidden gem known as The Farm – Willunga.
This lovely little café is off the beaten track and ideally located to take advantage of the beautiful surrounds. The perfect location to enjoy a quiet breakfast or lunch.
The all day breakfast menu will give you plenty of options with lots of “add-ins” to complete your morning feast. Alternatively you can choose from the seasonally changing lunch menu. All produce is locally sourced, (and organic where possible), further showcasing this fantastic region.
A wonderful range of local beers, wines and ciders are available to enjoy with your food, as well as juices. tea and coffee. The wine list contains a nice selection of many different styles of wine including some lesser known varieties. The wines have been sourced from several different wineries, mostly local with a couple of nice Adelaide Hills wines added for variety.
The Farm – Willunga also produces some amazing local products. Olive oil, olive oil skin care products and beautiful olive oil soaps to name a few. (I’m sensing a theme here 😊)
These products can be purchased in person at The Farm or via the website. Another option is to head down to the Willunga Farmers Markets. (Every Saturday morning at the Willunga High School) where The Farm are regulars.
And if you wanted more time in this lovely area, The Farm offers accommodation. Options include open plan, luxury apartments, or spacious Farmhouse rooms. With breakfast included, what better way to spend a relaxing weekend or midweek escape.
